This workshop provides an overview for how to understand and respond to people impacted by medical assistance in dying (MAiD). Specific topics will include an understanding of the current Canadian reality (MAiD requirements and amendments); biblical and theological convictions; patient and family perspectives; stages in decision-making; and coming alongside those impacted by MAiD. Time for general questions and responses will be included.
